The Stiffs Blackburn, UK

Powerpop/Punk band formed in Blackburn, Lancashire in 1977.
The Stiffs' 1979 single "Inside Out" (a firm favourite of John Peel) became an Indie chart hit in early 1980. Further singles included "Volume Control" (1980) and "Goodbye My Love" (1981). The original band split in 1982 but a revamped line-up returned in 1985 for "The Young Guitars" single. The original members have since reunited. ... more
